Overview

Dr. R. Vijayageetha is an accomplished academician and researcher currently serving as an Associate Professor at C.L. Baid Metha College of Pharmacy, Chennai, with nearly 19 years of academic experience and 2 years of industry exposure, reflecting a well-rounded background in pharmaceutical sciences. She completed her Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) from Madras Medical College & Research Institute under The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University in 2003, a Postgraduate Diploma in Quality Assurance from AIMS University, Delhi in 2005, her Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm) in Pharmaceutical Analysis from C.L. Baid Metha College of Pharmacy under The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University in 2007, and her Ph.D. from C.L. Baid Metha College of Pharmacy under The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University in 2014, with research focused on chemometric method development and validation for marketed pharmaceutical formulations. She has teaching experience since 2007 and gained industry experience from 2003 to 2005, and has further enhanced her expertise through an NPTEL certification in “Multidimensional NMR Spectroscopy for Structural Studies of Biomolecules” from IIT Madras. She possesses extensive hands-on experience with advanced analytical instruments such as HPLC, HPTLC, UHPLC, and UV-Visible spectrophotometers, and is committed to advancing pharmaceutical education and research innovation. She has a total of 11 Google Scholar citations with an h-index of 2 and has successfully guided 10 B.Pharm and 30 M.Pharm research projects, contributing significantly to student research and academic development.
