Overview

Dr. Shailaja K is an accomplished academician and researcher in the field of Pharmacy Practice, currently serving as Professor and Head at C. L. Baid Metha College of Pharmacy, Chennai. With over a decade of teaching and academic leadership experience, she has made significant contributions to pharmaceutical education, clinical practice, and research. She completed her Ph.D from The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University and holds a Master’s degree in Pharmacy.
Her academic journey is complemented by early, industry experience at Medopharm, where she worked in analytical and quality-related roles. Dr. Shailaja has been actively involved in student mentoring, research guidance, and professional development activities. She has published numerous research articles, presented papers at national and international conferences, and actively participates in professional organizations.
