Admission Criteria
Admission to the Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) programme shall be made in accordance with the norms prescribed by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and the regulations of the affiliating university and State Government.
Minimum Qualification for Admission
A candidate seeking admission to the B.Pharm programme must have:
- Passed 10+2 examination conducted by a recognized Board or its equivalent.
- Studied English as one of the subjects.
- Studied Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects.
- Studied Mathematics or Biology or both as optional subjects.
Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to the above examinations shall also be considered eligible.
Age Requirement
The candidate should have completed 17 years of age on or before 31st December of the year of admission.
Reservation of Seats
Reservation of seats shall be provided to candidates belonging to:
- Scheduled Castes (SC)
- Scheduled Tribes (ST)
- Other Backward Classes (OBC)
as per the rules and regulations of the Central Government / State Government / University.
Intake Capacity
The number of admissions permitted in the B.Pharm programme shall be as prescribed by the Pharmacy Council of India.
Duration of the Programme
The B.Pharm programme is a four-year undergraduate professional degree course consisting of eight semesters.
Each academic year shall have not less than 200 working days.
Medium of Instruction
The medium of instruction and examination shall be English.
Working Days in Each Semester
Each semester shall consist of not less than 100 working days.
The academic schedule generally follows:
- Odd Semester: June/July – November/December
- Even Semester: December/January – May/June
Attendance Requirement
Students must maintain at least 80% attendance in:
- Theory classes
- Practical classes
Students who do not meet the attendance requirement will not be permitted to appear for examinations.

- Approvals : Pharmacy Council of India
- Eligibility : Candidates should have passed the Higher Secondary Examination or its equivalent with optional subject Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Botany / Zoology or Mathematics.
- Duration of the course : Two Years
- Duration D.Pharm Sanctioned Intake : 60 Candidatesof the course : Two Years
Diploma in Pharmacy
D.Pharm course is a diploma in pharmacy program of 2 yrs duration after 10+2 (science stream) which includes 2 yrs of academic study followed by practical training in government hospitals for 500 hours covered in 3 months. The main goal is to educate and train the students for practicing pharmacy. This is the minimum qualification to get registered as a pharmacist in India.

- Eligibility: Candidates should have passed the Higher Secondary Examination or its equivalent with optional subject Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Botany / Zoology or Mathematics.
- Duration of the course: Two Years
- D.Pharm Sanctioned Intake : 60 Candidates
Admission procedure for admission to D.Pharm
- Candidates should have passed in the Higher Secondary Examination or its equivalent with optional subject Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Botany / Zoology or Mathematics.
- Candidates can directly apply to the college for the management seat.
- Application for admission can be submitted online.
- Management seats will be filled as per the directive of State Govt. as specified from time to time.
- Application form completed in all respects should reach the Principal’s office along with the following documents.
- Photocopy of mark sheets of the qualifying examination
- Photocopy of Transfer Certificate and Conduct Certificate from the Head of the Institution last attended.
